Some eSourcing applications have an integrated project management application that may suffice for managing individual eSourcing events, but they tend to be limited for managing an eSourcing programme.

• Integrating individual project activities into a single reporting structure rather than relying on spreadsheets or other ad hoc reporting tools
• Developing an integrated workflow that can support a more effective reporting process that provides complete visibility on the status of all projects.
• This capability can also provide a risk assessment profile which can used to produce forecasted savings on various risk probabilities
• The integrated workflow can also classify different types of cost savings, such as cost avoidance, and how this might contribute towards the overall savings total.
